GovCon: Doing Business with the Commonwealth of Virginia
As a small business owner, understanding how money comes into and out of your business is crucial to the long-term success and sustainability of your business. Throughout 2025, Loudoun Economic Development is offering a variety of classes in their Ashburn office, hosted by Cheryl Wiehn, that will walk you through the essential financial concepts every entrepreneur should know, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, e-commerce, financial reports and budgeting. You’ll learn how to interpret and leverage these tools to make informed decisions, avoid common financial pitfalls, and ensure the financial health of your business.
As a tool for tracking your business finances, a high-level overview of QuickBooks will be reviewed at each class.
My name is Abida (Abby) Wahla, and I am the owner and massage therapist at Touch Therapeutic Massage. We play an essential role in offering stress relief and pain management, improving daily function and overall well-being. We work to manage, reduce, and prevent your pain with therapeutic massage and bodywork services and the healing power of touch.
My journey in health services began in the 1980s in Scotland, where I gained experience in various wellness sectors, advocating for, educating, and helping minority communities overcome hurdles to achieve equal access to health services.
Touch Therapeutic Massage was established in 2013 in South Riding, originally as a home-based setup. We opened our first brick-and-mortar office five years later, just before the pandemic, and successfully overcame the unforeseen challenges of establishing a massage therapy business during that time.
Touch Therapeutic Massage is now located at 24805 Pinebrook Rd, #320 South Riding. With a dedicated team of five therapists, our business has expanded to an office of five treatment rooms, offering multiple massage modalities, acupuncture, stretch therapy, and infrared therapy.
