This week, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority unveiled its long-term vision for the future of Dulles. The proposed multibillion-dollar modernization includes expanded terminals and concourses, improved passenger experience, and investments designed to position Dulles as one of the world's leading international airports.
These improvements reinforce a simple truth: infrastructure matters.
Great communities are built over decades through thoughtful investments that strengthen their competitive position. As Dulles continues to grow and evolve, so does Loudoun's ability to attract talent, support our existing businesses, and compete for opportunities from around the world.

I want to congratulate the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority and thank the many public and private partners whose vision and commitment continue to strengthen this remarkable asset for our region.

As part of this surge in momentum, CNBC recently released its annual America’s Top States for Business rankings, with Virginia once again earning a place among the nation's top states, ranking #3 overall. That strong overall performance is bolstered by exceptional results across several key categories, including maintaining its #2 ranking for infrastructure, placing in the top five for education, and earning top 10 finishes for workforce, quality of life, access to capital, and technology and innovation.
For Loudoun County, this is exciting news.
